Laurél Schmid founded Bit by Bit Designs in 2000. With a B.A. in graphic Design, a stint in corporate communications for Kohls Department Stores, three years designing in Grand Cayman, and now an entrepreneur, she’s been dancing with design for over 11 years. The gift of good listening and her approachable style define Laurél’s creative practice. She meets one-on-one with her clients to discuss their design needs, and her creations reflect them. Poised with a pencil in hand, many of her concepts begin on paper. Her clients love that she never misses a deadline and is always prepared.

Where has she been? Originally from Wisconsin, then an opportunity took her to the Cayman Islands. And now it’s the wide open spaces of the West. But most of all, she’s lived with imagination. Laurél started Bit by Bit Designs to offer an affordable service with two important goals:
